Many people who have taken a ride on a chair lift or cable car fear a breakdown that could leave them trapped, suspended over the mountainside. Well, a ski resort in the French Alps has turned this fear into an escape room.
According to an article from Travel + Leisure, the Val Thorens resort cable car takes a group up the Cime Caron cable car, stopping along the way, leaving passengers hanging out at about 9,000 feet. The passengers then have an hour to solve the puzzles and find a way back down.
The best part is, it’s free! The worst part is, it’s over. The attraction ran until May 8th when the resort closed for the winter. Check it out if it comes back next year.
