⍟⍟⍟⍟. Recommended by EscapeRoomers. Day 2 of the Blitz, room 4 of the day. This was a fun room, with interesting props, a variety of puzzles, some we hadn’t seen before, and had a great flow. Overall it was fun to play, and led us to try another room with Locked immediately after, which was a disappointment. See below for the full review.

“You wake up in an abandoned hospital… You spent your last night in a hotel’s conference room, listening to a doctor’s speech. After the speech, the doctor invited you to his room at the hotel to have a drink with him… this is where the memories start to get dizzy. Escape the operating room! There is no time to waste”
Locked is a popular and busy escape room. They have at least 5 escape rooms at this location. Coming in is like checking in for an appointment at the doctor’s office. We had to wait about 10 minutes to start. They had a bar downstairs, but it wasn’t opened yet. While waiting, we ran into some Norwegians who were looking for Mystique. We had a bad experience Mystique the day before and told them so, so they tried Locked instead.
They put us in the hospital-themed room, which had a really nice variety of puzzles. It was bright, which can be nice after all the low-light rooms. The flow was excellent, one thing led to another, not too many red herrings, and we got out in stellar fashion. 33 minutes with no hints. It wasn’t easy, I think we were just “on” with this room. Thinking back, maybe all the puzzles were new to us, but things just made sense. It was fun, rewarding, and left us with time to do another room.
They offered us a “return customer” discount, 2,000 HUF off the next room, so we booked the Bank Job for 15 minutes later. In hindsight, we should have left satisfied after Surgery.
