⍟⍟⍟1/2. Recommended by EscapeRoomers. Low cost escape room company with three rooms in one location. This was the sixth room of the Blitz. It was fun overall, but from the top to the bottom, this fell right in the middle of the Budapest escape rooms visited during the Blitz. It was a great price for two people at just about $20 total. See below for the full review.

“The reality is not always the same as you think. From San Franciso’s alleys you have to get into the Matrix’s digital world before the computers take over the control. If you are fast and resourceful you might be able to destroy the evil program code!“
After finishing up at E-Exit, we were looking forward to the next two rooms booked at Mind Quest. However, when we got there, there was some trouble with the booking. I was very sure how I had booked the room, and had an email confirmation, but they said I was supposed to arrive at 3 pm. We were there at about 10 minutes til 4 pm, and were told that all the rooms were full. The employee was also not very apologetic, which would have gone a long way.
I suspect they had a full team (a group of about 10 co-workers were split up between two rooms), they gave away our slot in favor of the larger group who were paying more to play. Needless to say, I was annoyed. However, the employee said it would be available at 4:30, so we went downstairs to have a drink and wait.
Well, finally the time arrived, and we started Matrix. It started out in a very plain smaller room, appearing to offer little information at first. But we quickly found more. There were a couple of pretty interesting puzzles that I hadn’t encountered before. And a couple of props that were fun and interesting. Overall, the theme and integration was not very strong, but the room was still fun. There was quite a bit of scavenging necessary to finish the room. It was good enough to try a second room with MindQuest (especially at the 6,000 HUF price).
Bookable from about 13:00 to 01:00 most days, closed Monday. Check their schedule online.
The above picture is not EscapeRoomers. I looked online and I guess we were not photogenic enough to make their Facebook page. So use your imagination, please.
